We are cordially inviting you and your children to become new members of our EPP community. This academic year children will explore the self, the family and their communities. They will explore their own place and that of their families within the larger context. Students will demonstrate an understanding that communities may be made up of people from different cultures. Students will examine how the various cultures of Latin America came to be and explore the contribution of individuals or groups to our community and to the world.
Students will explore the various reasons for their families’ immigration to Canada (political or social upheaval, living conditions, family ties, economic conditions, etc.) and to define / redefine their own identities.
We welcome children 4 to 12 years old to our program. Children over 12 are invited to participate as our teacher assistants and achieve the community hours expectation of the Ontario Ministry of education.
